This guide requires that you have downloaded a backup of your website using the backup plugin “All-in-One WP Migration” as explained in guide How to download a backup of your website.
The following guide may differ depending on your hosting provider. The overall steps however are very similar across most web hosting providers.
First, make sure your domain is pointing to your web hosting account. Simply visit your website, if you get an error message or a blank page then it’s a good sign.
It means the domain is pointing to your web hosting account and is ready to be restored. If you still see the full website working, you need to wait a bit more until the nameserver/IP change has finished.
- Log into your web hosting control panel (often called cPanel).
- Go to “Domains” and add your domain.
- Once the domain is added, look for the App installer. Most control panels offer an App installer option which allows you to install apps, such as WordPress.
- Install WordPress to your newly added domain. You can either enter new admin username and password, or they will be generated for you.
- Once installed, log into your WordPress admin panel with the new login details.
- Inside of the dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New > Search > All-in-One WP Migration > Install > Activate.
- Click on the “All-in-One WP Migration” option in the left-hand menu.
- Go to Import and upload the backup you previously downloaded. Follow the on screen instructions.
- Once the import is finished, you should automatically be logged out.
- Log back into the website with the “old” login details and not the new ones you just set.

After the transfer, go to plugins and deactivate and then reactivate the WP Autonomous AI plugin. This is necessary for the automation to get hooked back into the timer, otherwise your website won’t get any new content.
If you run into any issues with your web hosting control panel, you can send me your control panel login details and I can restore the website for you.
If you run into any issues after the restore, you can send me your WordPress login details, so I can fix any issues.
